U istarskim je vinogradima 2014. utvrdena zlatna žutica, karantenska bolest vinove loze. Sirenju bolesti doprinose zarazeni sadni materijal i americki cvrcak.

Sa stajalista proizvodaca Elido Pilato ukazuje na simptome i stete zlatne žutice vinove loze zabiljezene na podrucju Istre, dok Marijan Bubola s Instituta za poljoprivredu i turizam pojasnjava epidemiologiju i suzbijanje zlatne žutice.
