Wood diseases, caused by a complex of pathogenic fungi, have increased since the prohibition of sodium arsenite. Eradication of these diseases isn’t simple since no cure exists on the market of plant protection products and destroying pathogenic fungi inside the trunk seems impossible. In order to avoid any spread or set up of the GTDs, prophylactic methods may be used and must be implemented since planting to limit their installation and dissemination.
